In January 2019, the band released their third studio album, Kerosene, with no promotion of any kind. Another single, titled "Stranded", came almost a year later and was added to the vinyl release as a bonus track. The single "In The Garden" gained attention through its promotion on the Spotify streaming service and its video is now the most viewed on the band's YouTube page. The album charted at number 13 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. On December 14, 2017, Red Vox released three more singles followed by their second studio album, Another Light. In September of the same year, the parody EP Blood Bagel would be released. What Could Go Wrong quickly became one of the top three most popular releases on Bandcamp. Starting in 2015, Red Vox released three singles, including the non-album track Trolls and Goblins, followed by their debut studio album, What Could Go Wrong on March 29, 2016. The name Red Vox is said to have come from a dream that Vinny had. Soon, Pecora would join the band permanently alongside keyboardist Bill. Originally they started as a two-piece, however they soon began working with Pecora at Red Room Studios. In late 2015, Mike and Vinny decided to get back together and form a new band. Mike and Phil went on to join other bands, while Vinny focused on his streaming channel turned collective, Vinesauce. They recorded a 7 song EP in 2009, before disbanding shortly after. After playing in numerous bands for several years, Vinny and Mike would start their own band, Davy's Grey with a friend named Phil. At the time, Vinny had begun learning guitar and started writing songs. In 2003, Mike and Vinny met during college and became friends due to them sharing similar tastes in music.
